There’s something significant about the month of March. The very name suggests movement – stepping forward, pressing on and advancing with purpose. Here at Solid Rock Derby, we believe this March is not just another month on the calendar, it’s a prophetic declaration: we are marching into our greater glory.
The word of the Lord for our house this year has been about “Greater Glory Ahead.” In January, we received the promise. In February, we built the unity and love to carry it. Now, in March, it’s time to move forward with boldness into all that God has declared over us.
This is the month for taking steps – not by sight, but by faith.
From Promise to Possession
When God gives a promise, it’s not for us to admire from a distance, it’s a call to alignment and action.
The children of Israel didn’t enter the Promised Land sitting still, they had to cross the Jordan, circle Jericho, and step out despite fear and as they marched, walls fell, rivers parted, and victories came.
Likewise, this month we’re not sitting on the sidelines of destiny, we’re taking steps – spiritual, relational, and practical – toward the “greater” that God has in store.
Greater intimacy.
Greater influence.
Greater purpose.
Greater testimony.
Greater impact.
We’re not waiting for perfect conditions; we’re moving because we have a sure word from God.
How to March Forward This Month
- Strengthen Your Faith: Spend time in the Word daily, speak God’s promises over your life and remind your soul of what He’s said.
- Make Practical Moves: Faith without works is dead! So, apply for that role, start the business plan, forgive that person, join the team and move forward.
- Pray with Expectation: This is a month for bold prayers, pray with vision and declare God’s glory over your family, career, church, and city.
- Stay Connected: Marching alone is hard so stay plugged in and let your church community encourage, challenge, and support you.
