At Solid Rock Church, we believe that faith must be active — expressed not just in worship but in love and service to our neighbours. Our Foodbank is a vital part of our community outreach, dedicated to supporting individuals and families facing financial hardship.
What We Do
We provide emergency food parcels and essential household items to those in need across Derby and surrounding areas. Whether you’re a student, a single parent, elderly, or facing temporary crisis — we are here to help.
What’s Included
Each food parcel typically contains a mix of:
- Non-perishable food items (canned goods, rice, pasta, etc.)
- Toiletries and hygiene products
- Baby essentials (on request)
- Seasonal extras (e.g., warm meals, festive hampers)

Open: Fridays & Sundays | 12:30 PM – 2:00 PM
How You Can Help
- Donate Food: Drop off items during church hours or contact us for pick-up.
- Volunteer: Join our friendly team to pack, sort or distribute parcels.
- Sponsor a Family: £10/month can feed a family of four for a week.
