Our Year of Greater Glory Ahead!
Anchor Scripture: ‘The glory of this present house will be greater than the glory of the former house,’ says the Lord Almighty. ‘And in this place I will grant peace,’ declares the Lord Almighty.” Haggai 2:9 (NIV)
As the calendar turns and a fresh year begins, our hearts are stirred with a deep sense of expectation. We are not entering 2025 casually, We are stepping into it boldly, holding on to a promise from heaven: There is greater glory ahead.
This word from Haggai wasn’t just for ancient Israel, it’s a divine echo that speaks to us today. After a season of delay and disruption, God spoke through the prophet to stir His people into hope. The temple they were rebuilding seemed modest compared to Solomon’s grandeur, Yet God declared, “This new Temple will end up far better than it started out… more glorious in the end.”
What a promise!
God was not just speaking about bricks and gold, he was speaking about presence, peace, restoration, and revival and we believe He’s saying the same to us today.
This year will be marked by glory:
Glory in families healed.
Glory in souls saved.
Glory in the broken made whole.
Glory in dreams revived.
Glory in our city experiencing a move of God like never before.
Not because we’ve earned it or figured it all out, but because God is faithful to His word and generous in His ways.
What Does Greater Glory Look Like?
Greater glory is not flashing lights or viral moments, it looks like consistent obedience, it looks like quiet breakthroughs, it looks like community growing stronger, prayer rising louder, and love reaching farther.
It’s God doing more with less and breathing life into places we thought were finished. It’s the ordinary becoming sacred, and the small becoming significant.
We’re not waiting for the perfect moment; we’re walking in it. Every gathering, every act of kindness, every step of faith is part of the glory unfolding.
As we anchor ourselves in this word, let’s stay open to how God wants to work because His glory doesn’t just fill temples, it fills people, it fills homes, and it fills hearts that are hungry.
Let’s Believe Together
This year, choose to believe that your latter will be greater, believe that God can do more in 2025 than you’ve ever seen before and refuse to settle. Shake off disappointment and step forward with courage.
Let this be the year that your story shifts.
Let it be the year your prayers are answered.
Let it be the year God’s glory shines through your life in ways that make others say, “Only God could have done that.”
