A Season of Gratitude and Worship at RCCG Solid Rock Church Derby
As we step into a new year, RCCG Solid Rock Church Derby invites you to begin 2026 with thanksgiving, praise, and a renewed encounter with God. This January, we are hosting two powerful Sundays designed to refocus our hearts and align us with what God is doing in this season.
THEME INTERPRETATION
Divine Establishment means:
1. Divine Rootedness
God plants a man where storms cannot uproot him—spiritually, emotionally, financially, and in destiny.
2. Divine Strengthening
Every weakness is replaced with supernatural fortification. You become steadfast, unshaken, and spiritually fortified.
3. Divine Empowerment
Heaven backs your assignment. What others labour for, you accomplish with grace.
4. Divine Security
Your destiny becomes out of reach for the enemy. God places a hedge the adversary cannot penetrate.
5. Divine Positioning
God places you where your purpose can flourish—opportunities, relationships, platforms, and divine alignments.
6. Divine Settlement
The long journeys end. Delays expire. God brings you into your land of rest.
7. Divine Sustenance
What God begins in your life does not wither; He maintains, perfects, and multiplies it.
Worship Experience Sunday

Theme: “Praise That Positions Us” (2 Chronicles 20:21–22)
The following Sunday will be a focused worship experience, centred on the power of praise and its ability to position us for victory, direction, and divine alignment. With deep, spirit-led worship and an atmosphere of expectation, this service is designed to help you reconnect, refocus, and respond to God through praise.
Both services will be hosted by Pastor & Pastor Mrs James Egodibie, with powerful musical ministrations, including guest ministers and the Solid Rock Church Derby Choir.

What should I expect when I visit?
You’ll be warmly welcomed by a friendly, diverse community. Expect vibrant worship, passionate teaching, and a family atmosphere. Dress comfortably — modest and respectful is perfect.
Is there something for my children or teenagers?
Yes! We have age-appropriate ministries:
• Children’s Church (Ages 2–11)
• Teens Ministry (Ages 12–17)
• Youth/Student Fellowship (IGNITE)
Do you provide transport to services?
Limited transport is available for students and those with mobility needs. Please contact the church office in advance.
How can I get involved?
There are many ministries to join — from Worship, Outreach, and Technical, to Men’s, Women’s, and Hospitality teams. Fill out a volunteer form or speak to a Connect Coordinator or an Usher after service.
Can I meet with the Pastor?
Absolutely. Appointments with Pastor James or any member of the pastoral team can be scheduled through the church office or Connect Coordinators.
Do you offer counselling or prayer support?
Yes. Pastoral counselling, prayer support, and mentorship are available. Simply reach out via our prayer request page or speak to a leader during or after service.
Is your church part of a larger denomination?
Yes, we are part of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) — a global network of Pentecostal churches with presence in over 190 countries.
