Victory Through the Power of the Cross

April brings us to the heart of our faith: the cross of Jesus Christ. As we journey through this month, reflecting on the death, burial, and resurrection of our Saviour, we are reminded of one powerful truth:
The cross is not a symbol of defeat.
It is a banner of victory.
Through the cross, Jesus conquered sin, death, shame, fear, guilt, and the enemy himself. The cross changed everything – not just for history, but for your story.
We are not striving for victory; we are standing in it.
What the Cross Has Already Accomplished
- Victory over Sin
The cross broke the power of sin once and for all. You no longer have to live under condemnation or addiction. Grace empowers you to live free. - Victory over Death
The empty tomb is proof that death does not have the final word. For every believer, there is hope beyond the grave and power in this life. - Victory over Shame and Guilt
Every accusation against you has been cancelled. You are not defined by your past, but by what Jesus did on the cross. - Victory over the Enemy
The enemy has been disarmed. He no longer has authority over your life unless you give it to him. You are more than a conqueror through Christ!
Living in the Power of the Cross
It’s not enough to simply believe Jesus died for us. We must live like He rose for us – bold, free, full of purpose and confidence in His finished work.
This month, we challenge you to:
- Reflect on the cross with gratitude.
- Walk in the victory that’s already yours.
- Share the message of hope with someone else.
Let April be the month where you stop fighting battles Jesus has already won and start walking boldly in His triumph.
Our Declaration This Month:
We are a victorious people.
Not because of our strength, but because of His sacrifice.
We are covered by His blood, raised by His power, and commissioned by His love.
We stand on the truth: It. Is. Finished.
