SOLID ROCK COMMUNITY PROJECT FOOD BANK

In partnership with some organisations, Solid Rock Food Bank has a dedicated
team of volunteers who collect, sort and help distribute food and basic toiletries
every week, to referred families who have children and drop in service users.

The Food Bank offer food parcels for people in need. We will also support you to
explore the underlying causes of your difficulties, including exploring finance and
benefits challenges you might have.

We offer free food to residents of Derby who need help and We also support shelter
homes around Derby and aim to provide a three-day food parcel for those who are in
need.

If you would like to donate food or toiletries, they can be dropped off. You can contact us
on 07766054917 or 07760119314 anytime during the week or when we are open, usually
between 12:00pm and 1:00pm on Fridays and at any Sunday service or on Wednesday
evenings between 5.30pm-6.30pm.

Developing this missional enterprise, by not only providing emergency food, but engaging in
addressing the causes of the food poverty in the local community.

Through being alongside these families, we have witnessed first-hand their gratitude for both the
advice given to them and the receipt of the food bags, and also had the opportunity to build
relationships with both the service users and staff, offer other support, and share encouraging stories.
